Trousers in Kenya

A new species of shark-finned, shark-necked fish was discovered off the coast of Kigabatia, Kenya, on Monday.
An Australian tourist, who was returning to Nairobi from Cape Town, took it on this trip, according to a report on Cape Town Guardian.
He spotted the shark, which weighed a whopping 9 kilograms, on the sand about a fortnight ago when he went to check it in the beach where it is still swimming around in the dead of night.

“It’s a very good find. I’m now in the process of thinking of getting rid of all the old corals in Africa. If I had one I would take my life from now on.”
The shark belongs to the Zavuidae family of sharks. The Zavuis are a single, muscular shark shark with a long head and strong jaws.
According to the website of a national aquarium, that body is about four centimetres (20 inches) long, about 14 centimetres (23 inches) in length and weighs about 800 kg (600 pounds).

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The Nairobi-based newspaper NAPS has issued a statement saying it’s “clarified” that the ban will be rescinded.
“These draconian measures will not stop our Muslim brothers and sisters in Kenya from celebrating and learning about the Prophet Muhammad during the holy month of Ramadan,” the statement noted. “The Muslim League will continue working with NAPS to promote this change. In the meantime, we must stand up, and we’ll do the same with those of you who fear discrimination.”
The ban on Muslim Brotherhood members participating in the country’s holy month of Ramadan is designed to dissuade Muslim youths from attending a Muslim celebration.
NAPS and KSA’s chief executive Mervyn James said the National Association for Political and Social Research, the “most popular and influential Islamist group in Kenya, will be involved in helping NAPS campaign for the changes. The advocacy organization received only about $4 million
